Your Hi-Tech inspector is liscensed by the California Structural Pest Control Board.

He will methodically examine your structure inside and out, and then write a written inspection report.

There are three termite species that infest California.

These are the subterranean ( which is common worldwide ) ; the California drywood; and the Pacific dampwood and subterranean termites are most common.
	If you see the small beige, brown, or black droppings, this is an indication of termite presence. Brown mud tubes or tunnels can indicate subterranean termite infestation. They can't hide!

In some areas, Hi-Tech may also use the Termatrac System to detect movement of any insects or any termites in various types of wall framing.

In areas where evidence is found leading into walls, small holes are drilled in walls to locate the presence and the species of termites with a special fiber-optic wall scope. All holes are carefully patched afterwards.
