The team at Hi-Tech Termite Control of Southern California wishes all our customers and readers of our blog a very merry holiday season. It’s been a good year for us and our customers and we’re happy to report it’s been a bad year for termites!
We’re looking forward to be of continuing service to the Southern California community in the coming year.
In the meantime, while termites are more dormant when it’s cold they are still there and there is still the possibility of an infestation. A nice warm house is looking good right about now to a termite.
Termites need three basic elements to survive: warmth, water, and wood. In your heated home, termites can find their basic needs.
Watch for those classic indications that termites have invaded: mud tubes created from the burrowing termites, damaged wood, or wing sheds.
Though termites in winter are less active, for a homeowner or property manager it saves and pays to be watchful all year long!
If you need to treat termites on your property, don’t hesitate to give us a call! We provide termite control services for our neighbors throughout Southern California, including those in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County.
